The Job
Working from a modern workshop repair centre, you will be part of a busy team of engineers and technicians repairing PC hardware and electronic devices that have been returned with faults.
Duties include;
- Fault finding servicing and repair of electronic and PC-based equipment
- Component level fault finding on PCBs
- Electronic and electro-mechanical assembly test
About You
We seek an experienced Electronic Workshop Technician with a mix of the following skills and experience;
- Experience in fault finding and repairing electronic PCBs to component level
- Experience using hand tools and soldering equipment (through hole and SMD)
- Experience using electronic test and fault finding equipment – DVM, Scopes etc.
- Previous experience in a repair or production/test environment
- Prior experience in repairing mobile phones or PCs is advantageous
