Electronics Engineer - Windsor / Maidenhead (Home/Hybrid Working)

Our client designs and manufactures instrumentation products for the medical engineering sector. They form part of a global group of technology companies supplying an innovative range of highly regulated products worldwide.
The Job Role
As Electronics Engineer, you will focus on maintaining and sustaining electrical safety approvals for new product releases and develop and support procedures for continuous improvements within electronics.
Key Accountabilities
- Sustain, maintain and improve existing products
- Implement regulatory requirements (electrical safety, EMC, wireless, RoHS)
- Oversee the Electrical and Electronic Design Change Process
- Verification and validation activities
- CAD updates, schematic capture, prototyping and testing
- Design test methods to verify designs, including building or specifying test equipment to test electro-mechanical systems with optics and software
- Manage Obsolescence Issues
- Provide technical support to production lines
- Liaise with Test Houses and Customers
About You
As Electronics Engineer, you should have a good mix of the following skills and experience;
- Experience in electronic device design and verification in a regulated industry requiring certification and product approvals
- Familiarity with Pulsonix or CADSTAR PCB design software, ideally
- Experience in designing for manufacture, test and cost
