The Job
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for all Quality related functions within the company with the help of an Assistant Quality Manager and a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Duties:
- Maintain ISO9001 Quality Management System
- Implement ISO14001 Environmental Management System / Achieve third-party certification
- Oversee internal audits and carry out site inspections / Host third-party audits
- Manage the quality team
- Manage customer complaints and returns
- Report quality issues to suppliers and follow up on corrective actions
- Maintain Approved Vendor Lists and Qualified Manufacturers Lists
- Liaise with Manufacturing team on continuous improvement, third-party audits
- Liaise with Engineering team on third-party product certification and compliance
- Liaise with external Health & Safety consultancy
About You
We require a good mix of the following skills and experience;
- Degree or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline
- ISO9001 internal auditor qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in risk assessments, audits and report writing
- Experience conducting investigations and implementing remedial action
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to analyse and evaluate data and information and a good eye for detail
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
