This successful company is part of a global engineering group of companies. They supply special-purpose machinery and tooling to manufacture and weld plastic components. The business serves all industries that need to manufacture plastics, from automotive and medical to aerospace and construction.
The Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will service existing customers, develop new business and respond to customer enquiries. Your primary focus will be to visit customers, establish manufacturing and application needs, sell capital equipment / special purpose machinery solutions and establish the tooling requirements. Full technical training is provided in specialist areas.
About You
The successful Technical Sales Engineer will need previous experience in selling capital equipment. Experience in selling tooling, jigs and fixtures is preferable, and plastics industry knowledge is highly desirable. In addition, you should hold a relevant mechanical/electrical engineering qualification and have a full driving licence.
